Story
Taima was born in one of the very first French colonies of the New World. Both her parents were native people and she lived in a peaceful village. «Les Blancs» (french white men) respected the ancient traditions of the inhabitants in exchange of some important things needed to survive the cold and harsh winter of the country (such as food, warm clothes, «raquettes»*, tobogans, etc… ).
At the age of 16, Taima decided to leave her hometown (… or village, perhaps ?) and joined a trading crew that was heading back to the metropolis. She lived a few weeks in France and finally ended up in another trading boat who was going to Japan for some economic affairs. There, she was charmed by the place and the culture and decided to stay for a while. It has been hard for her, but she somehow manage to survive and even gain some money to buy herself some decent clothes and rent a little appartment.

Fighting skills
Taima is quite strong for a woman. Thanks to all the chores she had to do back in the New World, she managed to build herself some strenght and endurance. Being such a great hunter, Taima is very quiet, furtive and quick. She is very precise when she uses her knives as throwing devices and she can proudly stand her ground in a hand-to-hand fight and... she often bites and use her nails if necessary. Unfortunately, she can’t fight with a sword to save her life.

Personnality
Taima is very serious and always ready to work. She doesn’t believe in gods, but she does think there are forces that help people if asked. She is a soft hearted person, but sometimes, she can be very cruel. Like many other women of her tribe, Taima has a high developped mother instinct.
She speaks french, japanese, english and her native langage (which she almost entirely forgot… ).

Taima is a skilled needlewoman. In fact, she actually is trying to open up her own kimono/dress shop.
